Struggle & Hope mines the stories of the last-remaining residents of several all-black towns in Oklahoma, while charting their efforts to ensure their towns aren't lost to history.

SYNOPSIS: In 2015, the indigenous art collective Postcommodity constructed Repellent Fence, a two-mile long outdoor artwork that straddles the U.S.- Mexico border. Aided by the communities on both sides of the border, the artists installed a series of 28 oversized inflatable spheres that stretched out a mile in each direction. Repellent Fence draws parallels to other large scale land artworks, while questioning the idea of borders and divisions.
