Join us for our annual short film screenplay readings. Following are the three finalists. These short film screenplays will be read live by local actors at the new Whitty Bookstore in Kendall Whittier. Free and open to the public, lunch included.

The Air Factory, written by W.W. Webb

SYNOPSIS: In the future, a worker survives in an economy where the means of exchange is more personal than mere money.

Crystal Nation, written by David Power

SYNOPSIS: Take a journey with destiny. Discover the mythical origin of America's first founding father, George Washington. Be introduced to the fantastical figure of the Iroquois, Takewitha. Come to know how his hero's journey almost ended before it ever began.

Wheat Field with Cypresses, written by Joe Hayes

SYNOPSIS: A couple falls in love while looking at a painting together.
